Springbank Off-stream Reservoir Community Information Session

You are invited to participate in a Community Information Session hosted by Alberta Transportation.

The event will provide community members with an update about the Springbank Off-stream Reservoir Project (the Springbank Reservoir or SR1), and an opportunity to ask questions about the project.

This event will be offered in person, within public health guidelines, and concurrently online for participants who cannot attend in person.

This will be a seated event that will include a presentation on the Springbank Reservoir and a Q&A portion where attendees can ask questions to a panel of Project team members.

Panelists will include:

• Honourable Ric McIver, Minister of Transportation
• Matthew Hebert, Executive Director, Transportation Policy, Alberta Transportation
• Wayne Speller, Principal, Senior Regulatory & Impact Assessment Specialist, Golder Associates Ltd.
• Matt Wood, Chief Natural Systems Design Engineer, Stantec
• Dave Brescia, Principal, Environmental Management, Stantec

Advanced registration is required if you would like to participate in the session, whether in-person or online. In-person seating at the venue is limited in accordance with current public gathering restrictions due to COVID-19. Those registering to attend in person should be aware the event will follow Alberta public health guidelines and municipal regulations, and there may also be additional health and safety requirements established by the venue as they relate to safety in response to COVID-19.
